At the heart of Le Domaine de Rymska, the Spa Manager invites guests on a voyage for the senses, in which letting go and relaxation are the key words. This 30 year-old native of Burgundy can lay claim to a rather exceptional career. After a spell at the 5-star Spa des Suites de La Potinière in Courchevel where she discovered her vocation, she joined the 5-star establishment of Georges Blanc in Vonnas, before setting down her bags at the 4-star Château de Citeaux in Meursault.
There, she polished her talents for seven years and became Spa Manager, a position she occupied with flying colours for five wonderful years. In 2023, a new challenge awaited her with the opening of the spa at the Domaine de Rymska. “I was immediately won over by the hotel’s idyllic setting, and the project pursued by Éric Feurtet,” says Claire Bertrand. “After sharing his wish to work with authentic, accessible brands, he placed his trust in me and gave me ‘carte blanche’ to select partners and create rituals.”
She thus focused on two independent family businesses: Vinésime and Equatoria. Also on the menu, the Rymska “4 Elements” Signature massage. A protocol created by Claire herself, and rewarded by first prize in a contest. “In its own way, each manoeuver embodies fire, air, water and the earth. Smooth and enveloping, this massage is a real ode to nature, just like the Domaine de Rymska.” A welcome pause for serenity, surrounded by the countryside.
